The 10 Exits of Therapy™
Where did your treatment stop?
Between the moment something is wrong and the moment a treatment is actually working, there are ten places a patient quietly drops out. Almost nobody drops out on purpose. They get stuck at one of the ten, and nothing in the system is watching that particular spot.
Answer as far as you get. The first place you say no is where you are stuck, and there is usually something specific to ask there.

Ten questions at most. Usually fewer.
The map, and then the detail
All ten exits in order, with the ones already written out in full, are on the page for patients and caregivers. The gated guide, Before You Leave the Pharmacy, walks the thirteen situations where a patient can meet a prescription and a first dose.
See all ten exitsThis page helps you find where a treatment stalled and what to ask next. It is navigation help, not medical advice, and it does not replace anything your prescriber or pharmacist tells you. Decisions about diagnosis and treatment belong with your licensed clinician. Nobody pays for this page, and who pays for the rest of my work is set out in the disclosure.
